Terms and Conditions – Service Center Exclusions

Please verify with us at 013 333 3743 for warranty eligibility before purchasing. Ninebot Malaysia does provide warranty to Decahlon Malaysia Nation Wide shops, Eco Pro Technology and Ninebot Malaysia Sdn Bhd for warranty only. If the unit was purchase elsewhere from other resellers including Shopee and Lazada please find back the respective sellers for warranty, support , services or parts.

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully regarding our service center exclusions for products purchased from Lazada and Shopee or other resellers. The Warranty and Support will be tied back to the resellers.

Service Center Exclusions:

  • Ninebot Malaysia’s authorized service centers will not provide warranty support or repairs for products purchased from Lazada and Shopee or other resellers.
  • Warranty claims and repairs for products purchased from Lazada and Shopee or other resellers must be directed to the respective sellers, as per their terms and conditions
  • The service center exclusions also apply to non-warranty repairs, maintenance services, and spare parts availability for products purchased from Lazada and Shopee or other resellers

Warranty Eligibility:

  • The warranty coverage provided by Ninebot Malaysia is applicable only to products purchased directly from Ninebot Malaysia Sdn Bhd or its authorized reseller, Decathlon Malaysia all branches, and Eco Pro Technology Sdn Bhd.
  • Proof of purchase, such as a valid sales receipt or invoice from Decathlon Malaysia all branches or Ninebot Malaysia or Eco Pro Technology Sdn Bhd, is required to claim warranty services.
  • Products purchased from Lazada and Shopee or other resellers will not be covered under Ninebot Malaysia’s warranty. Warranty claims must be directed to the respective sellers, as per their terms and conditions.

Service Center Restrictions:

  • Ninebot Malaysia’s authorized service centers are only obligated to provide warranty support and repairs for products purchased directly from Decathlon Malaysia all branches or Ninebot Malaysia or Eco Pro Technology Sdn Bhd.
  • Service center staff reserve the right to verify the purchase origin of the product. If the product is determined to be purchased from Lazada, Shopee, or any other unauthorized channels, the service center reserves the right to refuse service.

General Provisions:

  • This service center exclusion is specific to products purchased from Lazada and Shopee or other resellers and does not impact warranty coverage for products purchased directly from Ninebot Malaysia or Eco Pro Technology Sdn Bhd.
  • Ninebot Malaysia reserves the right to modify or terminate the service center exclusion terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
  • Any inquiries or further assistance regarding products purchased from Lazada and Shopee or other resellers should be directed to the respective sellers on these platforms.

By purchasing a product from Decathlon Malaysia all branches or Ninebot Malaysia or Eco Pro Technology Sdn Bhd, you agree to be bound by the above terms and conditions regarding service center exclusions for products purchased from Lazada and Shopee or other resellers. 2 Years Warranty Terms and Conditions
*If there is water damage or physical accident the warranty does not cover physical damage or water damage. Any modifications to the scooter electronic system will void the warranty. The claims will be valid from the purchase date. When a part is change  during the warranty, the warranty duration will not be extended for additional Months.
*Purchases from Lazada and Shopee will have to find back their respective seller. Ninebot Malaysia only will serve claims from all Malaysia Nation Wide Decathlon Shops, Ninebot Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and Eco Pro Technology Retail Shops. 
* Segway Ninebot Malaysia reserves the rights to terminate buyers warranty if we have detected any physical modification to the scooter electrical systems, water damage, accidents, stolen goods or not registered owners.

Limited Warranty / Service Statement 

This limited warranty shall apply to Ninebot Malaysia products only. For product under normal use circumstances and at the discretion of Ninebot Segway authorised service centre shall provide free of charge repair and/or replacement service within the warranty period. The limited warranty period starts from the date the customer first purchases the product.

1. This limited warranty is only valid in Malaysia, and the product is not eligible for any international warranty service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, warranty service may only be performed by Ninebot Segway or Ninebot Segway authorized service centers.
2. Prior to contacting a Ninebot Service Centre a copy of the customer’s original invoice/receipt is required to proof the purchase was made from us.
3. This warranty does not cover the following cases: a) If the product serial number or warranty seal is illegible or has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, and/or tampered. If any accessory or external part of the product is missing. b) Any natural wear and tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse or negligence) and damage caused by lightning, abnormal voltage, acts of god such as floods, fires or earthquakes. c) If any damage occurs in/on outer surface of the product, including but not limited to cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior cases, screens, water damage, buttons and other attachments. d) Deterioration of the product caused by normal wearing and tearing, including but not limited to rust or stains; e) Any other circumstances that are contradictory or are not in compliance with business ethics.
4. Ninebot Malaysia will determine whether a product is “Out of Warranty” at its discretion according to the standards listed above. Repair of Out of Warranty products shall be separately quoted by Ninebot Segway authorized service center and respective service shall be provided upon service fee payment.
5. Warranty is only limited to the first purchaser of this product and it is not transferrable. Customer’s original invoice/receipt with corresponding model and serial number of the unit must be presented to claim warranty.
6. The obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of parts only.
7. In case of any damage during transit by Customer, the product shall be repaired by the authorized service center on chargeable basis and warranty for unexpired period to continue from the date the customer first purchases the product.
8. Ninebot Malaysia authorized service center reserves the right to retain any parts or components replaced at its discretion, in the event of a defect being noticed in the equipment during warranty period.
9. Replacement of parts would be at the sole discretion of Ninebot Segway. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, the same model shall be replaced and if such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model equivalent as deemed by Ninebot Segway.
10. This warranty will automatically be expired on the expiry of the warranty period as specified herein.
11. Warranty is applicable only for products purchased in Malaysia. Applicable service charges may be different for products purchased outside of Malaysia.

13. Ninebot Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Eco Pro Technology Sdn Bhd or Ninebot Inc will not be responsible or be liable to any accident, fault, or incidents which is caused by the device supplied. Usage of all products supplied will be on the users own risk.
14. Ninebot Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Eco Pro Technology Sdn Bhd or Ninebot Inc will not be responsible or be liable to any accident, fault, or incidents which is caused by the user. Usage of all products supplied will be on the users own risk.
